Since summer is right around the corner, I am definitely eating these days, to lose some weight. I had this nutritious salad, for dinner tonight. I say nutritious because I put in 5 different greens in there. I like the peppery crunchy taste of this salad. It’s a very simple recipe, but some of my friends are also in the ‘lets get in shape for summer’ boat with me, and wanted some healthy dinner ideas. So ta-da!!
2 cups fresh Spinach leaves
2 cups Lettuce
¼ head Broccoli
1 rib Celery
1 ½ cup Cabbage (cut into thin strips)
1 can Tuna (Thai chili flavor)
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Black pepper
Salt to taste
Chop up the broccoli and boil them for 5 minutes. In the meantime, chop up the other veggies and place in a large bowl.
Add the broccoli and the tuna, toss together with pepper, salt and olive oil.
